Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

  
  

• Provide targeted support through 1:1 and small group interventions

  
  

• Help with lesson preparation and classroom management

  
  

• Build positive relationships with students and support their personal and academic development

  
  

• Gain practical, hands-on experience that prepares you for teacher training or an educational career

  
  What We’re Looking For

  To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A 2:1 degree (or higher) in a core subject or related field (Russell Group or top-30 university preferred)

    
    

  • A strong academic background (including A-levels and GCSEs)

    
    

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

    
    

  • A proactive and flexible approach to working in a school environment

    
    

  • A genuine interest in education and working with young people

    
    

  • Experience mentoring, tutoring, or volunteering with young people (desirable but not essential)
