What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting KS2 pupils with autism both in the classroom and through targeted interventions
• Helping children regulate emotions, develop resilience, and access learning
• Working with teachers, SENCo, and parents to implement support strategies
• Encouraging independence and confidence in social interactions
• Providing feedback on progress and development to inform strategies
• Promoting a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
Ideal Learning Support Assistant For this Lambeth School:
• Graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant with autism knowledge
• Psychology, education, or related degree highly desirable
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about SEN provision
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
