We have a number of exciting opportunities to join our award winning RABDF Gold Cup Winners 2024 and award-winning beef herd at Harper Adams University.

A key part of the beef and sheep team, you will focus on the care of the farm’s 150 beef cattle and 1000 Lleyn sheep. We are looking for a motivated team member, with a willingness to develop new skills and exemplify livestock husbandry skills.

Duties to include:
Care of the beef cattle, sheep and research dairy cows
Assisting our shepherd and lambing duties (seasonal)
Operating and maintenance of machinery
Supporting students in practical on farm sessions
Data collection
Assisting research academics, supporting trials
Pressure washing
Keeping the farm clean and maintained to a high standard.

Previous experience of working with livestock is a requirement for the role, though training and ongoing support will be provided.
