We have an exciting opportunity to join our Revenues team in a temporary role as an Assistant systems & reporting officer. You will support the Systems & Reporting officers to carry out key system related activity in respect of the NEC Revenues & benefits system including scheduling batch processes, and carrying out regular system reconciliations. The role is varied and you will also support the Council’s Digital Transformation agenda by working with colleagues to progress data reporting, integration and automation task as appropriate

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has an understanding of Council tax & benefits business processes, has strong numeracy and data analysis skills, with good knowledge of financial controls and excellent team working skills. .

Ideally the successful post holder will also have experience of structured query language (SQL) and business objects reporting.

Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met. Hybrid working will be considered after an initial period of induction and training has been completed
