Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering dynamic and engaging lessons


  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to boost student confidence and progress


  • Help with lesson planning and classroom organisation


  • Foster positive relationships with pupils and support their academic and personal development


  • Gain practical experience that will prepare you for teacher training or a long-term career in education


    What We’re Looking For

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • A 2:1 degree (or higher) in a core subject or related field (Russell Group or top-30 university preferred)


    • Strong academic background (GCSEs and A-levels)


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


    • A positive, flexible, and proactive mindset


    • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education


    • Previous experience working with young people is a bonus, but not essential
