We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of operational delivery at our brand-new Northern Head Office in central Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a state-of-the-art building and play a key role in ensuring outstanding service delivery.
Job Description
As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing all contracted services across your area, ensuring performance meets agreed service levels.
Acting as the first point of escalation for the client on FM-related matters, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to build strong relationships and consistently deliver services that exceed expectations.
The role will also involve deputising for the Senior Operations Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of escalation for both the team and customer, ensuring seamless BAU operations delivery.
Oversee operational deliverables across your area, maintaining high standards of health & safety and service quality.
Manage small works projects, ensuring timely, consistent, and budget-compliant delivery.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal and external partners.
Ensure service delivery meets and exceeds client expectations through SLAs, reporting, compliance with SOPs/EOPs/BCPs, and timely resolution of remedial tasks.
Take financial responsibility for service streams, supporting variable budgets, approving works within authority, and ensuring cost control.
Provide effective line management and leadership to Workplace Leads and service teams, auditing service quality and driving remedial actions to completion.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven client-facing Facilities Management experience with strong supplier and stakeholder management.
Demonstrable people management skills, with a track record of leading, motivating, and developing teams.
Skilled in delivering exemplary customer service, meeting deadlines, and achieving contract SLAs.
Strong problem-solving ability with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal support.
Excellent communication skills across all levels, with integrity and respect at the core of interactions.
Competent in MS Office and IOSH Managing Safely certified.
