Salary: Grade 3, £18,172 - £18,749 per annum. £12.85 - £13.26 per hour
32.5 hours per week (8:30am to 3:30pm), term time working 38 weeks per year
Temporary until 31st August 2025 (maybe extended depending on Service Needs and Funding)

The Governors wish to appoint two enthusiastic, highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistants working across both Key Stages who will work to support children 1:1 alongside some classroom Teaching Assistant duties
The successful candidate will need to:
support the needs of SEN pupils;
work closely with staff, parents and outside agencies;
be able to cater for the individual needs of the children and to use initiative based upon situations as they arise
follow individual Care Plans as directed;
establish good relationships and team working with the wider school community;
provide excellent support for the class teacher and all pupils;
listen to and respond to advice from other professionals outside the setting and be accountable for maintaining records and observations;
provide details feedback to the SENDCO, class teacher and parents;
create supportive and trusting relationship with parents with an honest and open approach;
Applicants will need to demonstrate a proven understanding of working with children who need particular support in different aspects of SEN needs. You will also need experience working, initially in KS2 and it is essential that you have experience of working with SEN needs.

In addition, as part of the shortlisting process we will carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on the shortlisted candidates. This search will be conducted by a senior member of the School Leadership Team, who will not be involved in the recruitment process. A consistent approach will be taken, and the results will be recorded. The search is to help identify any incidents or issues relevant to suitability to work with children, that have happened and are publicly available online, which we may want to explore with the applicant at interview stage.
