What skills and experience we're looking for
• have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children of primary school age or NVQ 2 or equivalent in teaching assistance
• have experience of working within the Primary phase
• have high expectations for all children
• have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and kindness, and demonstrating consideration for their development as learners
• demonstrate high standards of spoken and written English
• work as part of an effective team
• carry out administrative tasks to a good standard, including using ICT
• be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life

The Governors, staff and children of St Mary’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This will initially be in Year 5.
Our pupils are welcoming, diverse and eager to learn. They require a teaching assistant who will nurture their potential, champion high standards and bring out the best in every child.
