The Digital Marketing Executive is a key part of the Global Digital Marketing team who manages multiple websites around the world, customer retention optimisation and online digital experience improvements.
Working closely with colleagues in the global team as well as regional stakeholders and third-party agencies, this role leads the day to day support and execution of website work, supporting with website issues, looking for optimisations in the online user journey and helping with technical SEO fixes. Managing the global digital budget and agency hours, the digital services executive is in charge of prioritising website development and tasks for themselves and the digital services assistant.
Website Management

First point of call for internal support for all Karndean websites worldwide.

Main liaison with web agency for organising support work and sprint allocation.

Work closely with and support the regional digital and marketing teams on local requirements for new website pages and functionality.

Responsible for reviewing and publishing regional website changes.

Forge strong relationships with the local digital teams in AUS, EUR, UK and USA to win trust and credibility to support them on website tasks. Occasional out of hours calls may be needed to facilitate this.

Manage regional product launches working to regional timelines. This includes updating all digital assets relating to product launches (Optimizely CMS, Floorstyle tool, Bimstore)

Manage and maintain regional product catalogue for all websites, including import/export files.

Work with suppliers to maintain and update third party website tools (Floorstyle, BIM etc).

Support work to improve our technical SEO, using insights gathered by the PPC/SEO Specialist.
CRO & UX

Use analysis and insight on website performance using data gathered from Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and related tools.

Set up A/B tests and track the results to discuss implementing changes across the websites.

User behaviour analysis: Reviewing heatmaps, session recordings, and click-tracking tools (e.g. Microsoft Clarity

Creating Google Analytics or GA4 to track KPIs like bounce rate, conversions, and drop-offs.

Competitor benchmarking by Collecting UX best practices and CRO tactics from similar sites.

Helping design and launch test variants for A/B testing website experiments.

Assisting with Google Tag Manager setup for tracking events.

QA testing by checking that UX/CRO changes work across browsers and devices.

A/B test reporting by compiling experiment results and summarizing which variants won.

SEO-UX alignment by helping ensure UX changes don't hurt organic performance alongside the PPC & SEO specialist.

Continuous improvement logs by documenting what tests were run, outcomes, and lessons.
Project Management

Facilitating new ideas and creating business cases to aid discussions for new features or website improvements.

Work with the Digital Services Manager on web development projects.

Create & launch ad-hoc wordpress websites as needed.

Use our project management system (Wrike) to manage tasks from regions, projects and assign tasks to the digital marketing assistant
