The company is a leading supplier of bespoke animated and static props along with show scenic equipment to the worlds “Theme Park” industry, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, and exceptional service. Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with an elevated level of expertise in preparing project documentation and managing schedules using Microsoft Project amongst other aspects. The role involves liaising with various departments, including design, electrical systems, production, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will work with and support the production manager with day-to-day tasks based on customer requirements, and manage client correspondence for the submission of technical data and documents. Additionally, the role requires managing external contractors and suppliers to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Utilise Microsoft Project to develop, execute, and monitor project schedules.
• Liaise with all departments to coordinate project activities.
• Support the production manager with daily tasks, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Manage all client correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate submission of technical data and documents.
• Provide supervisory support to the production team, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
• Interpret and work with technical drawings and CAD designs.
• Manage external contractors and suppliers, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare and present project status reports to clients.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications and skills:
• Qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, with a proven track record of managing schedules.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
• Supervisory experience preferred due to the level of production and man management support involved.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using CAD software.
• Experience in managing external contractors and suppliers.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
