Location: South East London
Package: Circa £65,000 pa + Company Car

Vector Recruitment Solutions are proud to be partnered with a leading infrastructure engineering business at the forefront of the UK’s utilities, energy, and digital sectors. With major project wins and sustained growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior SHEQ Advisor to join their team, supporting high-profile power and electrical projects across the South East.

The Role

As Senior SHEQ Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance across multiple projects. You’ll provide specialist Health, Safety, Environment and Quality leadership, delivering advice, training, and guidance at all levels, whilst promoting continual improvement and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities


- Provide expert SHEQ advice, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and company policies.
- Support project teams to maintain the highest health & safety standards across sites.
- Lead on accident/incident investigations, RIDDOR reporting, and robust root cause analysis.
- Champion a culture of proactive reporting, including near misses and close calls.
- Ensure contractors, staff, and visitors adhere to site safety requirements.
- Deliver engaging presentations, training, and toolbox talks.

About You


- Experienced SHEQ professional within Power and Civil Engineering.
- Previous experience of projects involving DNO’s and IDNO’s, Substations and Cabling.
- NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent safety qualification.
- EUSR or CSCS
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Skilled in report writing, incident investigation, and management systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential.
- Experience working with management systems and NERS accreditation (desirable)
