Hays are proud to be exclusively working with a large company based in Rotherham.
We're seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable individual to support their finance and purchasing functions. This role involves a broad range of tasks across accounts, payroll, general finance administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Your new role
- Manage customer invoicing, payments, and account statements.
- Handle supplier invoices, payment runs, and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payroll, pensions, and statutory payments (NI, PAYE, VAT).
- Maintain accurate banking records, including reconciliations and expense claims.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting.
- Assist with audits and stock take activities.
- Record production data and update import schedules.
- Adhoc duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Solid understanding of Finance ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
