Crynodeb

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the activities of front desk receptionist for the RN Warfighting Centre (RNWFC) and provide:

Professional first point of contact to all visitors entering the RNWFC by confirming visitor’s identity; contacting hosts and escorting if required.
Issue access pass to permanent HQ staff and visitors, in accordance with security clearance level.
Advise staff and visitors of safety, health, environment, fire and security issues, as directed by the HQ leads in these areas.
Checking first aid and emergency kit (e.g. defibrillator and evacuation chairs) and updating records as directed.
Fully acquainted and able to operate the fire detection, door entry and intruder detection systems.
Secure custody of reception master keys.
Provide conferencing support to the RNWFC including guidance on procurement of refreshments and operating within the building.
Issue lockers - both for Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) and for personal items - to permanent staff and to ensure visitors have the appropriate locker access for their visit.
Issue keys to authorised holders and maintain key register.
Conduct initial response to building defects and issues.
In the event of a building evacuation, liaise with Chief Fire Marshall and Building Manager to ensure procedures are managed correctly.

To support the CSF Headquarters with facilities tasks, including, but not exclusively:

To be responsible for the ordering and issuing of stationery within CSF HQ.
To order ink/toner cartridges for the printers within CSF HQ.
To ensure supplies of paper for the photocopiers are maintained and order when required
To be a CP&F and TailSpend user and lead on CSF HQ demand ordering.
Hold an ePC card for ordering and procuring of goods not available via stores, CP&F or TailSpend.
To keep and maintain records of stationery orders and purchases within the CSF SharePoint for audit purposes.
To manage photocopiers and shredders across the RNWFC including taking and reporting readings, ensuring servicing is conducted as per contracts and using CP&F when required.
Manage the booking of meeting rooms and VTCs ensuring set up is arranged within CSF Headquarters.
Work with Building Manager to ensure processes are maintained and developed as required for sufficient operation of the RNWFC.
