Why You'll Love It Here:
- A brand-new, modern school with great facilities and resources
- A friendly, inclusive vibe where every student is supported to do their best
- A focus on helping students build confidence and skills for life, not just exams
- A supportive team that values your ideas and growth
What You'll Be Doing:
- Teaching engaging, creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4, getting students ready for their GCSEs
- Helping students improve their literacy and communication skills in ways that really stick
- Tracking progress, giving feedback, and tailoring support to help everyone succeed
- Working with a supportive English team and contributing to school life beyond the classroom
Who You Are:
- Got QTS or QTLS? Awesome - that's essential!
- Experience teaching English up to GCSE level, with a passion for making lessons interesting and relevant
- You care about your students and want to help them grow inside and outside the classroom
- A team player who's flexible, positive, and ready to get stuck in
Benefits:
- Competitive daily rate, paid straight through PAYE (no umbrella hassle)
- Move onto the school's pay scale after 13 weeks
- Free CPD opportunities to boost your skills and career
- STEP Perks - Access to a 24/7 online GP service. Discounts on gyms, cinemas, shops, and more
- Refer-a-friend bonus: £100 when someone you recommend starts (T&Cs apply)
- Friendly, ongoing support from an experienced local education consultant with over 13 years experience.
What You Need to Apply:
- A CV covering the last 10 years of work history
- Right to work in the UK and a current address proof
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to get one)
- Min. of two references covering last 2 years (one must be child based)
- Your QTS or QTLS certificate (or overseas equivalent)
If you want to be part of a school that's all about supporting young people to thrive, hit APPLY and let's chat!
