Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing
Location: West London
Salary: £40,000 per annum

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team, supporting the delivery of responsive repairs and voids maintenance projects across a portfolio of social housing properties in West London. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the cost management and commercial delivery of repairs and voids works across social housing stock.

Support with the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and valuations.

Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure works are completed on time and within budget.

Monitor project costs and progress, reporting on any variances or issues.

Help prepare and manage interim and final accounts.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, company procedures, and relevant regulations.

Maintain accurate records, including schedules of works, cost reports, and payment certifications.
Requirements:

Previous experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing or similar repairs/maintenance projects.

Familiarity with SOR (Schedule of Rates) and housing maintenance contracts.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and organisation abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or construction-related field (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent).
