Building Control Surveyor needed in Southampton, £403.89 per day PAYE - 5274866
BSR at Class 2
Apply Building regulation requirements and associated legislation to a range of projects in order to ensure a safe accessible and sustainable built environment
- To participate in the achievement and maintenance of efficient and effective quality services, including marketing initiatives.
- To participate in the administration and enforcement of the Building Regulations and related legislation..
- To carry out site inspections for compliance with appropriate regulatory and policy standards.
- To be competent in applying current building regulations (Approved Documents) in order to ensure appropriate standards on construction sites, and also keeping abreast of any changes to technical requirements.
- To undertake site inspections to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations.
- To maintain inspection records, prepare reports, attend meetings, prepare and give evidence, as necessary, in an efficient and accurate manner, using computerised systems, as appropriate.
- To report immediately any contraventions or departures from approved plans, Approved Documents or planning consent conditions when inspecting works in progress to the Principal Building Control Surveyor.
This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
