Crynodeb
Lead the development of the Clinical Nurse Specialists, ward based nurses and outpatient staff in the care, treatment and management of patients with cancer in line with local and national frameworks Lead the development and delivery of psychological reflective practice in collaboration with the psychology teams for the cancer workforce across the organisation With the support of the Senior Management Team, lead on the review and development of service and workforce plans, in conjunction with other services and Divisions, the wider health care community and external agencies according to current national and local requirements. Provide advice and guidance on preparation of the clinical environment for safe practice. Collect, collate, and analyse and action information, ensuring accurate nursing and management and patient records/documentation aremaintained. Support the development of creating effective links with cancer users and carer groups across Liverpool community, in line with patient and public involvement (PPI) strategies Deliver implementation of improvements and action plans detailed in the Cancer Improvement Programme identified through quality frameworks such as SSQP, Quality Assurance visits, National Cancer Audits, and CQC Full participation in the cancer patient pathway, including contribution to the achievement of cancer standards and Cancer Harm Review Process of identified cancer breaches
