Renfrewshire Councils, Building Services is looking to recruit 4 Electricians, all trade persons should have served a full trade apprenticeship to SVQ level 3 and have experience working across all types of property including domestic, office and commercial. You will have a good level of secondary education and experienced in supporting a variety of work repairs and tasks.

You will have experience of working within a building operations / maintenance environment. You will be familiar with all forms of new technology and mobile operating devices, have the ability to work on your own initiative and have effective communication skills. A flexible approach to working will be required including out of hours working and participation on the out of hours emergency stand-by service.

It is essential you have 18th edition IEE wiring regs, Competency of testing electrical installations, IT Skills and experience writing detailed reports for this role.

A full current driving licence is also essential.

Knowledge of working within a public sector environment is desirable. The roles may be suitable for a flexible work pattern. You may also undertake associated works across in other trade skills by multi skilling.
