Working primarily within the Colleges new Future Focus NEET provision and Foundation Learning Department, you will act as a mentor—supporting positive attendance, engagement and attitude to learning for all elements of the Study Programme.
The post complements the work of our cross-college support teams and requires excellent communication skills, particularly with the Teachers, Learning Support, the Student Engagement Team and parent guardians.
What We’re Looking For
- An enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a passion for working with young people (16–19).
- Experience in, or aspiration to work within, education and student support.
- Commitment to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and students alike.
- Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt to student needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine impact, ensuring that every young person—no matter their background—has the tools and support to thrive.
