The Marketing Coordinator provides marketing support for the Downing College International Programmes and, in liaison with the Communications team, manages the content of the Programme website. The role is central to the creation and distribution of content through all marketing channels including the Programme websites, Programme pages, collateral and social media channels. The ideal candidate will: - Be educated to degree level or beyond, ideally with a graphic design and/or marketing-related qualification, or equivalent work experience. - Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar marketing services role, ideally within the Education sector. - Have exceptional organisation skills.- Have experience of using Airtable, Hubspot, Adobe Creative Suite, Typeform, Zapier.- Have experience of working in an online marketing role.- Have knowledge and experience of using website content management systems (CMS).- Have experience of working with CRM databases.- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. About Downing’s International Programme The Downing College International Programme was originally established in 1998 and offered only to our University Partner’s overseas. With the initiative of expanding the programme offering to International Students aged 15-18, Downing College International Programme became one of the College Endorsed Summer Programmes within the Cambridge University academic community. The Programme is split into three main sub programmes; Pre-Sessional International Programme (15-18), International Programme (15-18), AND Undergraduate Programme (18+), held at Downing College, Cambridge. During the Programme, students will engage in a variety of academic activities such as lectures, workshops and visits to subject-related laboratories. Students will also enjoy a vibrant social calendar featuring quintessential Cambridge and British experiences, such as formal dinner, punting and a history and political tour of London. With cross-disciplinary learning and empowerment at the core of the Downing College International Programmes, we are driven to ensure that students have the best experience that can be offered. Details of the roleThe post of Marketing Coordinator is a permanent, full-time role. Applications are invited from suitably experienced candidates. The hours of work are 36.25 hours per week with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. The annual salary is £32,218 per annum for 36.25 hours per week (Step 40 on the College Salary Scale).
