An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Programme Manager to join the Cambridge Children's Hospital Project team on an 18 month fixed term contract to support its Transformation and Transition programmes.

Cambridge Children’s aspires to be more than a hospital. Through a collaboration between Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Cambridge, we are seeking a visionary new approach to healthcare for children and young people across the east of England. We will treat the whole child or young person with an innovative model of co-located physical and mental healthcare and research.

Working on behalf of both NHS partners, CPFT and CUH, this role will play a key part in regional NHS digital strategy, ensuring the successful integration of physical health, mental health, research, and education into a future-proofed digital hospital and ecosystem.

The position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to manage and develop a diverse set of relationships with all levels of staff involved in the programme.

You will need to possess technical knowledge and experience in operational or programme delivery of digital services.

• Working with the senior leadership of project team and partner organisations to lead the Digital programme for the CCH project. Priorities will include EPR implementation planning, digital innovation and building infrastructure.
• Ensuring there is the appropriate involvement and support for the project from all relevant stakeholders ensuring delivery of high quality meaningful partnerships that deliver tangible patient benefit. This includes digital leads, clinical and operational staff, patients and the public, finance representatives, external NHS stakeholders, and third party organisations.
• Actively maintaining a detailed overview of the CCH Digital programme and coordinate the programme’s projects, manage interdependencies and ensure realisation of projected benefits.
• In collaboration with stakeholders, developing the necessary digital components for the CCH Business case and design processes.
• Reporting directly to the project’s strategic and operational boards, influencing senior NHS leadership and ensuring that digital solutions align with national NHS digital strategy and policy directives

The Digital Programme Manager will provide strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a digital transformation and transition programmes to support the Cambridge Children’s Hospital (CCH) project.
