A commitment to patient centred values. Participate in the development and delivery of a philosophy of care which involves/respects the rights of patients, carers and staff. Maintain an awareness of national and regional initiatives. Act as a positive ambassador for the trust. Deliver direct care to patients within their caseload in accordance with the trusts policies and HCPC/NMC guidelines. Comply with trust policies and requirements and undertake duties in accordance with the most recent HCPC/NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Maintain clear, accurate, legible and up to date trust documentation that provides an accurate record of perioperative care delivered in accordance with the most recent NMC/HCPC standards for record keeping. Maintain confidentiality of trust and patient information. Comply with the Data Protection Act and Caldecott recommendations.
