Summary


To provide clinical advise to the Trust Commanders during a serious or major incident



to provide clinical advice to our Advance Paramedics in Critical Care as and when clinically required

To be available throughout your period of on call to take telephone calls, as needed, and respond to a Command location if required during a serious or major incident

Wewouldliketohearfromyouifyourhostorganisationwillsupportyourapplication,andyou:-



· Arearegisteredmedicalpractitioner withaminimum of oneyears’experienceatconsultantgrade orequivalent.

· Havepre-hospitalcareexperiencethroughPreHospitalEmergencyMedicinetrainingor responding as part of a BASICS Immediate Care scheme.

· Haveexperienceofproactiveengagementwithinternalandexternalstakeholders.

· Areexperiencedinandcomfortableprovidingstrategicleveladviceinahighlypressurisedenvironment.

· Areanoutstandingcommunicatorandproblemsolverwhounderstandstheimportanceof emotional intelligence.

· Understandthepre-hospitalemergencymedicalenvironment,masscasualtymanagementand the NHS ambulance services’ core standards for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR).

· AreavailablewithintheEastof Englandregion,contactableandcanmobilise to ancommand cell when on-call.




· Arewillingandabletoundertakespecifictrainingassociatedwiththemulti-agencyresponsetoa major incident.

· CanempathisewiththeEEASTvaluesofquality,teamwork,respect,care,andhonesty.
