nurture the children, we want to hear from you!

You will work as part of our friendly, welcoming and highly experienced Nursery Team, supporting the Early Years Educators and

About You

No matter what stage of life you are at, you will be looking to start your career in childcare!

Whether you have just finished your studies or you might be looking to change your career, we are looking for someone who is
motivated and excited about taking that next step towards working in a nursery.

If you had a minimum GSCE level 4/ grade C in English and Maths, this would be ideal but as long as you are keen and able to study
your level 3 Early Years Workforce qualification, your GSSE’s would not be a barrier to starting.

You will be given time off to study as part of your working week but also you will be learning “on the job” as you will be
learning from our existing team every day.

We work a 4 day week within our nursery which means you will work 4 days between Monday to Friday and have 1 day off per week. You
will work 40 hours per week, 8 am to 6pm each day.

If you have any experience of babysitting, working with children in volunteer groups such as Brownies or Beavers or maybe you have
done your work experience within another nursery or a school, this would all be really helpful to showcasing your desire to want
to work with you children.

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service. We
reserve the right to withdraw this role before the closing date should we be able to appoint to the role.
