The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living tasks and encouraging their independence. Your responsibilities will include:


Assisting with household tasks and routines
Providing personal care, including intimate care
Prompting or administering medication as required
Promoting a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment




Hours


25 hour per week role, working 5 out of 7 days on a shift rota basis




About You
We are looking for someone who:


Holds a full UK Driving Licence; the nature of the role will involve visiting clients homes and will require the successful candidate to have access to a road worthy vehicle which is insured for business purposes.
Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Can work effectively on their own as well as part of a team
Is organised, punctual and reliable
Holds (or is willing to work towards) an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
Is able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting
Experience in care is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
