As we prepare for our pupils to return this September, were looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school community where your passion and energy can help transform lives right from the start of the new academic year.
At Dan y Coed, located in West Cross, Swansea, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where children with autism and complex needs can learn, grow, and thrive. As an LSA, you will:
- Support teachers with lesson planning, assessments, and creative learning approaches.
- Provide high-quality support for small groups of pupils with ASD and complex needs.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- Help organise engaging off-site activities and experiences.
- Support pupils with routines, breaks, and personal care where required.
- Promote an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages progress and positivity.

What were looking for:

- GCSEs (or equivalent) are valued, and we provide qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Experience with SEN/ASD is welcomed, but not essentialwell provide full training and support.
