Are you an experienced HLTA looking to take on a rewarding role in a well-established Birmingham primary school?
A friendly, community-focused school in Great Barr is seeking a confident HLTA to join their team in September. This varied role includes delivering PPA cover across year groups, leading targeted interventions, and supporting the wider teaching team where needed. You'll need to be organised, flexible, and able to step into different classrooms with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons during teacher PPA time
- Run small group interventions to boost pupil progress
- Support classroom routines and promote positive behaviour
- Work closely with staff to plan and adapt activities
- Track and report on learning outcomes
You Will Need:
- HLTA qualification or strong experience in a similar role
- Confident leading whole-class sessions across the primary range
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
