A proactive Location Accountant to support venue management with financial performance, event P&Ls, forecasting, and budgeting. You\\'ll provide key insights, ensure smooth financial operations during events, and act as a link between the venue and head office.

Location Accountant – The role

  • Acting as the key commercial contact during race days and events, ensuring tech is set up and functional.

  • Preparing accurate pre- and post-event P&Ls, including key assumptions.

  • Supporting timely forecasts, budgets, and financial statements.

  • Analyzing contract performance and providing financial insights.

  • Partnering with managers to drive financial awareness and performance.

  • Assisting with working capital, debt, stock, and cash control.

  • Producing clear reports and supporting business reviews.

  • Ensuring smooth finance processes between venue and head office.

What we’re looking for

  • Ideally be AAT qualified /or working towards a professional qualification in ACCA/CIMA/ACA (QBE is also acceptable).
  • Experience in a financial role within a similar industry
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate information in a clear and concise way
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills for large quantity of data, with a close attention to detail
  • Good to superb Excel Skills
  • Flexible working ability as there is some weekend work
  • Travel to your venues therefore driving licence is required.
