JOB SUMMARY
To create design solutions using Revit from customer briefs, in order to facilitate the manufacture of stunning customer-focused
and prototype residential and leisure homes. The role also involves conducting design specification appointments with customers to
be able to produce comprehensive plans and specifications tailored to the customer.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Whilst there is a degree of role flexibility subject to the skills of the candidates in question, duties covered by the design
department include to:
Primary
* Creation of both plan and specification for complex customer designs, ensuring the design meets the customer and business needs
* Work alongside the sales design team to provide bespoke space planning solutions in line with individual customer needs, with
potential to liaise directly with customers where required
* Ensure that all customer led home designs comply with the relevant British and European standards and are priced accurately
* Work at all times in accordance with company processes, and assist in the development of internal protocols to support the
departments commitment to excellent service through continuous improvement
* Provide support where required with the design of prototype homes
* Apply rigorous checking process to home plans and specifications prior to customer approval
* Creation of visuals for new models and bespoke customer designs
Secondary
* Provide information required for the procurement of materials in a timely manner and give support to the procurement team in
the sourcing of new materials where required.
* Work in close partnership with our extensive production facilities to devise and communicate effective manufacturing solutions,
whilst also constantly looking at ways to improve the manufacturing process to increase efficiencies.
* Create manufacturing details for customer specific homes as necessary
* Support as required, with the maintenance the standard information library, including model layouts, constructional drawings
and component modules

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* A creative portfolio or work samples
* Formal qualification and /or experience using 3D design software
* Revit experience in family creation would be an advantage
Experience and Knowledge
* Enthusiastic and self-motivated, willing to put in extra effort when required.
* A proactive mind set.
* Creative problem-solving skills combined with an analytical approach.
* An organised and systematic approach with good planning skills.
* An excellent team player, with good communicational/listening skills and a sense of humour.
* Good practical awareness stemming from a curiosity to understand how things are constructed.
* Good IT skills, competence with Microsoft Office.
* Good self-presentation skills, polite and well mannered.
* Experience in park home construction and BS3632 would be an advantage
* Training will be provided where required (in-house).
