THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but exceptional department. Together with four subject specialists, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a range of year groups across both KS3 & 4 and enjoy the support of a talented and experienced team. Outcomes are strong due to the exemplary efforts of both staff and students and vacancies in the department are rare. The English classrooms are close in proximity, schemes of learning are fully resourced and outcomes at GCSE are exceptionally strong. All students are entered for GCSE AQA English Language and Literature and the department has a strong track record of organising trips as part of the wider curriculum offer for our students.

Application Closing Date will be – Friday 3rd October 2025

Interview date – Monday 13th October 2025*

*we have the right to interview sooner if the right candidate applies
