We are recruiting for a full-time eRostering Coach to join our People Systems and Reporting team and support effective implementation and ongoing use of the Trust eRostering (workforce management system - WFMS).  This will be across all areas of the Trust through the provision of training, coaching and support to all staff.

You'll coach and influence operational teams to develop and change their rostering practices in line with Trust policies and procedures. You will provide ongoing rostering support and training to teams that are already using the E-Rostering system.  This will include responding to requests for support, reviewing roster set ups, undertaking audits, and working with teams to improve rostering fairness, efficiency, and performance.

We are looking for candidates with previous rostering and systems experience who have worked within an NHS environment.  You'll also need to have good attention to detail, have a professional, flexible, and responsive approach and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

If this sounds like a role you'd be great at then we'd love to hear from you!

Main duties of the job

  • Engage with teams and ensure their commitment to enable a successful implementation and ongoing use of the WFMS.  Ensuring that they are aware of the objectives and benefits, the roll out program, timescales, resource and input required from the team.
  • Work with a high degree of flexibility, persuasion, empathy and sensitivity supporting staff through the change process which can be highly emotive and unsettling for staff.
  • Listen to staff concerns, which may include complex situations, using appropriate judgments to develop a range of solutions that are consistent with the implementation strategy, escalating issues where required.
  • Translate highly complex technical information into a language which can be easily understood by staff using the workforce management system.
  • Maintain regular communication and a presence with teams building strong relationships ensuring progress in accordance with the plan and adherence to policies and procedures offering support, advice and guidance and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Capture staff views on how the system could be adapted in terms of usability and analyse themes working with the team to develop solutions where required.
