Location: Union Street, London - site based 5 days per week
Hours: Fixed Term 18 months, Fulltime 45 hours per week
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per year + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
What will you be responsible for?
As a Traffic Safety Control Officer, you'll act as a guardian of road safety, responsible for implementing traffic management plans in line with agreed permit conditions. You'll ensure all transportation guidelines and regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Your day to day will include:
-Monitor the safety and delivery of temporary traffic management (TTM) on-site
-Conduct site inspections and audits of TTM
-Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
-Assist with investigations and ensure any incidents/ accidents are recorded and reported
-Ensure the agreed traffic management as per TM drawings and permit conditions is implemented
-Manage and coordinate with supply chain partners
-Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency
What are we looking for?
This role of Traffic Safety Control Officer is great if you:
-A valid Lantra Awards NHSS12A Foreman certificate or card
-A valid NHSS12AB TSCO certificate
-Hold a valid Health & Safety Course or Qualification from IOSH, Nebosh, or CITB
-Full driving licence
-Basic understanding of supply chain processes, procurement, and inventory management
