Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a dynamic Production Line Planner to join the Supply Chain Department of our valued client in the Llantrisant area. This is an exciting, full-time permanent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Receive and analyse customer orders and forecasts for existing and new product launches.
Develop and maintain a realistic, flexible production plan that accounts for business constraints.
Liaise extensively with internal departments and external partners to ensure clear communication and effective execution.
Monitor and measure On Time In Full (OTIF) performance to meet agreed objectives.
Prepare and complete daily and monthly reports.
Qualifications & Experience – Essential
Good standard of education, including AS Level (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
Intermediate-level skills in Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
Significant experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and lead times.
Confident and appropriate communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, both in person and by telephone.
Qualifications & Experience – Desirable
Degree-level education or equivalent.
Advanced skills in Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems (Sage X3 preferred).
Experience in cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Experience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
Essential Skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Conscientious, self-motivated, and highly organised.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Professional, positive, and assertive attitude.
