Salary: From £44,000 per year | Hours: 40 per week (22 clinical, 18 supernumerary
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN qualified) to join a nursing home that specialises in high-quality care for older adults, including those living with dementia. What We’re Looking For
- RGN qualification with active NMC registration.
- Previous senior experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse in a nursing home setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in managing complex care needs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Passion for supporting older adults and delivering person-centred dementia care.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the overall running of the nursing home.
- Provide strong clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams.
- Balance hands-on nursing responsibilities with management and leadership duties.
- Oversee care planning and ensure residents’ needs, preferences, and dignity are always prioritised.
- Maintain safe and effective medication management.
- Lead by example, supporting, mentoring, and developing staff to deliver the highest standards of care.
- Monitor quality, compliance, and safeguarding practices in line with CQC regulations.
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
