I am currently seeking a confident and capable Deputy Manager to support the running of a medium-sized residential care home near Maidstone, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking organisation with an excellent reputation for delivering person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
Lead, motivate and supervise a medium to large care team
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
Maintain compliance with CQC standards and company policies
Assist with audits, care planning, risk assessments and staff training
Play a key role in staff development, team building and morale
Liaise effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Ideal Candidate:
An established Deputy Manager within a residential care setting
Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards
Good understanding of dementia care and best practices
Experience managing a medium to large care team
A strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, proactive and passionate about high standards of care
