The RoleAs an Apprentice Service Desk Coordinator, you'll play a key part in supporting our engineering and facilities operations while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on experience and structured learning, setting you up for a successful career in business administration and facilities management.

You'll learn to:

-Support the Service Desk team with scheduling and planning works for engineers and subcontractors

-Update and maintain jobs on our CAFM systems (Maximo and Click planning platform)

-Monitor shared mailboxes, ensuring emails are actioned promptly and accurately

-Review certifications, worksheets, and contractor reports, highlighting any remedial works required

-Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and supporting documentation for contract works

-Assist managers with reporting, management information, and customer updates

-Build positive relationships with colleagues, managers, engineers, and external suppliers

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a SCQF Level 6 Digital Application Support Diploma. You will be fully supported by our partner, Elite Modern Apprenticeships to achieve this qualification by having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.

What We're Looking ForWe're searching for motivated and ambitious individuals who are keen to learn and ready to take on new challenges. To succeed, you'll need:

-A willingness to learn and grow into the role

-Commitment to completing your apprenticeship qualification

-Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office tools

-A flexible, “can do” attitude

-Strong communication skills - able to interact with colleagues, managers, and suppliers

-The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

-A creative, problem-solving approach, using information and technology to find solutions

-An understanding of process and compliance requirements

Essential:

-GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4-9 or equivalent), or Scottish National 5s (Grades A-C) - certificates must be provided at interview
