Are you passionate about delivering great customer service and managing high-quality housing? DIO are looking for dedicated Housing Estate Officers to join our growing team across the country.
This is an exciting time to come on board. With the award of new multi-year contracts to our industry partners, you’ll be joining us at a key moment to help shape the future of housing services for our Service Families.
As part of the DIO Accommodation team, you will play a vital role in managing and improving housing services for military families across various regions. The role covers wide geographical areas, and regular travel to Ministry of Defence sites is essential.
You’ll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality housing, facilities maintenance, safety and enhancement of community areas, such as play parks. A key part of this role includes assurance and performance monitoring of our industry partners to ensure we’re delivering the best possible service.
In one region alone, this post oversees around 1,100 housing assets, giving you a real opportunity to make measurable impact! This is a rewarding and fast-paced role that offers real variety beyond the typical office environment. You'll have the opportunity to make meaningful impact by working directly with families and a wide range of stakeholders. No two days are the same - you'll enjoy a high level of autonomy, using your initiative to respond to situations as they arise. The role involves regular travel to different sites, keeping things fresh and interesting, and there may be occasions where you're called on at short notice - ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, people-focused role.
We are a team that puts customers first, striving to deliver excellence every day. If you’re motivated by purpose, enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and want to support those who serve our country, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, industry partners, MoD personnel and customers.
Collaborating effectively with partners to deliver positive outcomes and continuous service improvements.
Managing your designated area to support the planning and delivery of Additional Works Plans aimed at enhancing the estate.
Overseeing and assuring the smooth delivery of move-in and move-out processes for service families.
Creating and managing new work requests to address estate needs efficiently.
Completing all required business training to maintain professional standards and operational readiness.
Actively engaging with customers to provide high-quality service and resolve any issues promptly.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
Please note, candidates will be redirected to the Civil Service Jobs website where you will need to submit your application form.
