Summary

Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant - Trafford
Monday to Friday | £102 per day | Full Time

We are looking for a warm, patient and enthusiastic Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated SEN provision of a welcoming school in Trafford. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, offering £102 per day.

In this role, you will be working with our youngest learners, supporting children with attachment needs and helping them feel safe, secure, and ready to learn. The focus is on building strong, trusting relationships through play-based learning, creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued.

Your days will be filled with activities that spark curiosity and joy - from messy play and creative arts, to outdoor exploration and imaginative role play. You'll be supporting children in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and confidence through positive, consistent interactions. Play will be at the heart of everything you do, giving children the chance to express themselves, connect with others, and make sense of the world around them.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Early Years, an understanding of attachment and trauma-informed practice, and the ability to use play as a powerful tool for learning and relationship building. You'll work closely with the SEN team and class teacher to tailor support to each child's unique needs, celebrating every step forward .

If you are passionate about helping little ones thrive, love getting involved in playful learning, and believe in the power of connection, we'd love to hear from you.
