Key Responsibilities:
- Provide key financial data for internal month-end P&L submissions
- Remeasure and check BOQ updates
- Conduct risk analysis and forecasting for cost and value
- Manage cost provisions and accruals, including third-party materials, subcontractors, and plant
- Analyse weekly cost ledgers using the company's financial systems
- Demonstrate competent knowledge of subcontract agreements
- Facilitate subcontractor progress and update meetings
- Agree on subcontractor valuations and payment certificates
- Compile data for inclusion in main payment applications
- Conduct commercial auditing of subcontracts, including payment applications, rates, and claims
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cost Engineer in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of NEC 4 Option B Contracts and the NAECI Agreement
- Expertise in the Standard Method of Measurement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using financial systems, such as SAP and Power BI
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
