The Role
You'll become part of a warm and friendly team who provide support to four individuals with various learning disabilities. The great thing about this job is that two days are never the same; you'll provide invaluable support with all aspects of their daily living, including cooking, cleaning, finances and medication.
We'll also need you to be enthusiastic and creative supporting with their hobbies and interests too, some of these include gardening, cooking, baking, arts & crafts, going for walks and getting out and about in their local community.
About You
At Cornerstone we don’t recruit on experience and qualifications; we’re more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team! We’ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you’ll need. We’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registrations fees too!
All we'll need you to bring is: -
Good listening and communication skills
A caring attitude and approach
A positive approach to learning
An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too)
It would be great if you also had a full driving license, but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidates.

Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will usually fall into patterns mornings, days and evenings, so we will need you to be flexible. Weekends and sleepovers will also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
Our sleepovers don't form part of your contracted hours, you'll receive an additional payment of £100.80 for every sleepover shift you work!
Please note, if you don't live in Stonehaven public transport links can be very limited when it comes to our shift patterns, so we will need you to able to commit to our shift requirements both during the week and at weekends.
