Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Patent Administrator to join a sociable and supportive team in their vibrant Cheltenham office. This is a varied and engaging role, ideal for someone looking to develop their career or having graduated with a degree and don't know where to start in their career!
You will be providing dedicated administrative support to a senior Director an experienced patent attorney as well as their wider team of attorneys, paralegals, and fellow administrators. The team works with a broad range of clients to help protect innovative ideas and intellectual property rights.
What You’ll Be Doing:-
Managing and updating records in the in-house database with accuracy and attention to detail

Proactively handling diary management, scheduling meetings, and tracking deadline-driven tasks

Handling incoming calls and email queries, and over time, providing basic patent guidance to clients

Preparing official forms and documentation for Patent Office submissions

Liaising with the Accounts team and issuing client invoices

Processing incoming correspondence and instructions from clients and associates

Welcoming clients and visitors to the office in a professional manner
What We’re Looking For:-
Proven administrative experience with excellent attention to detail and written communication skills

Strong English language skills and the ability to accurately interpret written materials

Curious, proactive, and eager to learn

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment

Friendly and professional when dealing with colleagues, clients, and external contacts
