Job Summary

Post: Permanent Recreation Assistant II (Fitness)

Job Ref: L1394

Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour

(K:A Leisure provides workers with a minimum hourly rate of £12.60 under the Living Wage sdInitiative. Term and Conditions apply.)

Hours: 26.5 hours per week (mixed rota with evening and weekend shifts)

Location: Vikingar! Leisure Centre, Greenock Road, Largs, KA30 8QL

Job Purpose:

  • Provide fitness instruction, gym inductions and create customer programmes
  • Actively encourage potential subscribers to join and ensure the retention of existing subscribers
  • Set up equipment in accordance with facility bookings
  • Take responsibility for the general safety, preparation and cleaning of facilities whilst delivering excellent customer service

You Must Have:

  • Level 2 recognised gym qualification

PLEASE NOTE: Successful candidates will meet the cost of the relevant PVG/Police Scotland check; it will be deducted from salary following commencement of employment with the Company.
