Fastener Sales Executive, Shropshire, Basic + Commission
Responsible for facilitating the development of new business opportunities both within the United Kingdom and internationally.
This position requires a proactive approach to driving growth and building enduring client relationships.
Key Responsibilities : -
• Outbound Communication: Initiate contact with potential customers through strategic outbound calls aimed at establishing rapport and generating interest.
• Relationship Building: Develop and expand relationships with clients, transforming initial inquiries into long-term partnerships that contribute to business growth.
• Opportunity Acquisition: Successfully secure new inquiries and orders by effectively addressing client needs and demonstrating the company’s value proposition.
• Sourcing and Processing: Engage in the procurement of raw materials, accurately estimate inquiries, and process orders with attention to operational detail.
• Account Management: Upon establishing a client base, focus primarily on servicing existing accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Skills and Experience: -
• A solid background in fastener sales, demonstrating the ability to navigate a competitive environment effectively.
• Proficiency in identifying new business opportunities and engaging with decision makers to establish meaningful connections.
• Ability to confidently discuss the company's services and capabilities with clients, leading to the generation of inquiries and orders.
• Involvement in the costing and quoting process, ensuring that proposals are competitive and tailored to market demands.
• Capable of sourcing raw materials and managing the order processing workflow to maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with both commercial and production teams to promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• Provide comprehensive feedback and detailed reports to management, contributing to informed business decisions.
Candidate Requirements: -
• A strong independent work ethic, with the ability to manage one’s workload effectively and prioritise tasks appropriately.
• Competence in standard IT software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, to support daily operations.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics to assist with pricing and order management.
• Proven fastener sales experience is required, providing the foundation necessary for success in this role.
