Are you passionate about delivering high-quality IT services that make a real difference to how people work? North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Infrastructure Support Assistant to join End User Computing (EUC) within the council’s Digital Infrastructure Team.

As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of the Council’s ICT infrastructure. You will help deliver secure, efficient, and user-focused IT solutions that support the needs of our internal customers across a wide range of services.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in ICT infrastructure support and development, particularly in Microsoft technologies. You will be involved in supporting large-scale projects, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our digital services.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualification at SVQ3, HNC or equivalent in an ICT-related discipline.
  • Experience in ICT infrastructure development and support, including fault diagnosis and resolution for Windows, Android, and iOS.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Intune, Configuration Manager, Entra ID, and Defender for Endpoint.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-motivated, organised individual who can work to targets and adapt quickly to challenges.
  • Knowledge of security standards and best practices.
  • Experience with project delivery and working with third-party vendors.
