Working hours: Minimum of 35 hours per weekInterview Date: Week commencing 8th September 2025We are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant (Statutory Reporting) to join our Finance Team.Reporting to the Financial Accountant (Statutory Accounts & Property) the role is based in the Territorial Headquarters. You will provide an external statutory reporting function across the two main Trusts and connected entities. On a monthly basis you will produce balance sheet and reserve reports for the Senior Finance Team.Key Responsibilities: As well as prepare year end consolidated accounts you will produce monthly balance sheet and reserve reports to assist the decision making of the Senior Finance Team. Together will statutory returns, you will complete returns based on the Financial Accounts to support grant and fundraising applications. You will have responsibility for reconciling a suite of control accounts within the accounting system. As a Senior accountant you will provide support and technical advice to the wider financial team whilst continuously looking to improve processes and procedures. You will work with the Management Accounting team on prepayments and accruals and shared reporting requirements.
