JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Manager you will lead the Company's social media strategy and paid digital advertising initiatives, creating compelling content and campaigns that drive engagement, sales, and member growth across all social platforms. You will also help plan, design and implement successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Duties
Key Tasks
• Oversee the Company’s social media presence and create high quality written and visual content to promote the company's offerings across our social media platforms
• Develop social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content creation and implementation schedules
• Create, plan and manage our PPC Strategy including Google Ad Words, Facebook, and TikTok Ads
• Support internal colleagues to ensure that social content, campaigns, and engagement strategies are effective
• Plan, implement and deliver successful marketing campaigns for sales, member recruitment and retention including creative concept and design content
• Monitor emerging AI technologies in marketing, providing recommendations on potential applications and supporting the integration of any appropriate AI tools
• Co-ordinate the development and production of relevant print material both internal and external to the Company, ensuring adherence to brand guideline
• Support colleagues in the delivery of the digital strategy including the content management of the Live Active website and App
• Measure the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns
• Contribute to the development of appropriate corporate operational and strategic plans
• Act as the ‘day to day’ contact with relevant external organisations in relation to marketing activity
• Support internal colleagues to ensure that marketing activity supports service delivery
• Attend relevant internal and external meetings to discuss marketing activity and provide advice and support in respect of all aspects of marketing
• Undertake service or site audits and prepare appropriate action recommendations
• Contribute to the development of effective communications mechanisms both internally and externally
• Contribute to the planning and allocation of the budget appropriate to Marketing
• Attend events, fairs, shows etc to represent the Company, if required
Health and Safety
Key Tasks
• To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all supplementary legislation
Training
• To attend regular staff training sessions, be they held in-house or externally
• To deliver in-house training as required
General
• To ensure you are physically fit to carry out your duties at all times
• To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
• Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines
