About the Role Youll be part of an experienced and supportive team delivering personalised, one-to-one support to children and young people across a variety of settings: at home, in schools, and within the community. Our clients may be experiencing a range of needs, including suspected or diagnosed neurodiversity, mental health challenges, trauma, and behaviours considered complex or high-risk. In this role, you will: Build trusting relationships with children, young people, and their families. Deliver structured support plans tailored to each individuals needs. Work closely with clinicians and support colleagues to ensure a joined-up, consistent approach. Contribute to assessments and interventions under the guidance of our Clinical Lead. Promote positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and personal development in young people. Maintain accurate and professional records, using digital tools and systems. This is a varied and rewarding position, ideal for someone confident working independently, while also valuing team collaboration. Who Were Looking For We welcome people from a range of professional backgrounds, particularly those with experience in: Youth work or family support Education or alternative provision Residential care or supported living Mental health or wellbeing services Essential skills and qualities: Experience working with children or young people with additional or complex needs Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal A calm, solution-focused approach to challenging situations An understanding of safeguarding Confidence in using IT systems and digital tools Flexibility to work evenings and weekends A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across the region Why Join ABL Health?
