We're excited to be recruiting Resilience Coaches for our NHS Nottingham Talking Therapies Service! This is a 6-month pilot role, contracted at 37.5 hours per week. This is a remote role. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Resilience Coaches to support young adults (18-25 years old) who are accessing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire NHS Talking Therapies. This role sits alongside clinical services and is focused on providing non-clinical, emotional and practical support during their therapy journey.The Resilience Coach will help clients navigate life’s challenges, reduce social isolation, and stay engaged with their therapy by offering consistent, person-centred guidance. You will support clients with building resilience, accessing relevant services, developing coping strategies, and reconnecting with everyday life.This is a role for someone who is passionate about mental health, early intervention, and helping young adults feel heard, supported, and less alone.Duties and responsibilities:Work with clients referred through Talking Therapies, providing additional support alongside their therapeutic intervention.Help them apply what they learn in therapy to everyday life and stay engaged with the process.Deliver regular coaching-style support sessions (face-to-face or remote) focused on wellbeing, emotional resilience, and reducing isolation.Offer a safe space for clients to talk and reflect outside of therapy.Help clients access appropriate community and statutory services, including housing, benefits, addiction support, crisis help, and social groups. About youWe would love to hear from you if you possess the following: Experience working people experiencing mental health difficulties or emotional distress.Understanding of the Talking Therapies model or similar psychological support services.Familiarity with local support networks and referral pathwaysEmpathetic, grounded, and able to build strong rapport with young people.Non-judgmental, reliable, and emotionally resilient.Able to work independently and maintain clear professional boundaries.Solid understanding of the challenges young adults face in accessing and sustaining mental health support.Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, and appropriate escalation procedures.Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills, including digital tools for remote delivery.What we offer in returnWe are proud to have been recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our staff members.
