Introduction
We are looking for multiple compassionate and committed carers to join a dedicated team supporting a 19-year-old with complex medical needs. This is part of a large care package, working on a 2:1 basis to provide safe, person-centred support.
Duties
Administering prescribed medication
PEG/JEG feeding
Personal care and daily living support
Monitoring health and responding appropriately to changes, including managing gastric bleeds and enema care in line with care plans and training provided
Supporting overall health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
Hours
Weekdays and weekends
Full-time and part-time work available
Rate
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Essential Requirements
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Trustworthy and committed to delivering high-quality care
A genuine interest in supporting individuals with complex needs
Experience in care work preferred
Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
Training:
Full specialist training will be provided, including PEG feeding, enema administration, and safe management of gastric bleeds, ensuring all carers are fully competent and confident in delivering care.
