I am working with a well-regarded insurance broker who is looking for an experienced Broking Team Leader to head up their high-performing Schemes Team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will not only manage and develop the team but also get involved in the technical side when needed. You will make sure service, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance are always delivered to the highest standard.

The role covers two specialist groups, SME and Affinities, so you will be supporting brokers across both Leicester and Northampton. You will need to be comfortable travelling between sites, guiding day-to-day operations, handling escalations, and working closely with underwriting, compliance, claims, and finance to keep workflows moving and clients happy.

Commercial insurance experience is essential, as is proven leadership or supervisory experience in a broking or insurance environment. You will have a solid understanding of FCA regulations, insurance principles, and broking processes. You will be organised, confident in your decision-making, and a strong communicator, with good systems knowledge.

Applied Epic experience would be a real bonus. Professional qualifications such as Cert CII, or working towards them, would also be beneficial.
